Son’s murder: Life imprisonment, fine

Kasaragod: The father accused of murdering his three-year-old son has been sentenced to life imprisonment and fined 50,000 rupees. The Kasaragod Additional District Sessions Court (First) pronounced this punishment.

The convict who was sentenced has been identified as Raju M.A. alias Undachhi Raju (38), son of Alami, a resident of Mailati Colony in Rajapuram Panattadi village. If the convict fails to pay the fine, he should undergo 3 years of additional incarceration. The court has directed to give the collected fine to the convict’s wife Padmini.

On July 21st 2015, the convict had murdered his three-year-old son Rahul in the night and the Rajapuram police had registered a case on the accused in this regard.
