Soon-to-be bride, six others killed, 25 injured after buses collide near Bhatkal

Bhatkal: As many as seven people were killed while more than 25 were injured after a private bus and mini bus collided at Ananthawadi near Bhatkal on Thursday at around 1.30 am.
The mini bus was plying from Sirsi to Dharmasthala while the private bus was going towards Honnavar.
Two families were on their way to Dharmasthala for the marriage of Divya and Harish to be held on May 25. As tragedy struck, Divya was killed on the spot while Harish was admitted to KMC Hospital, Manipal with serious injuries.
The locals and police rescued the others from the mangled remains and a case has been filed.
