Spandana to be cremated today; Public allowed to pay last respects

Bengaluru: The funeral of Spandana, the wife of Sandalwood actor Vijay Raghavendra, will be held on August 9.

Her mortal remains were brought to Bengaluru from Bangkok, late night on Tuesday, August 8.

Arrangements have been made for the public to pay their last respects to the departed soul at the Bengaluru residence of B  K Shivaram, Spandana’s father. Public viewing will be allowed till 2 pm on Wednesday. Thereafter, cremation rituals will be at the Harishchandra Ghat.

Spandana had been to Thailand with her relatives on vacation about a week ago. According to reports, Vijay Raghvendra had joined them on Sunday after finishing a film shoot. Spandana reportedly died of cardiac arrest in her sleep on Monday.
