Special trains for Christmas and New Year

Karwar: Konkan Railway has started special trains to lessen passenger congestion during Christmas and New Year.

Train No. 01079 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Kochuveli weekend special will run on December 21, 28 and January 4. This train will start from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12:45 p.m.

Train No. 01080 Kochuveli – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus will run on December 22, 29 and January 5, starting from Kochuveli at 2:15 p.m.

01467 Pune Junction – Ernakulam Junction ‘Humsafar’ weekend special will run on December 23, 30 and January 6, starting from Pune at 7:55 p.m. The up train – 01468, will run on December 25, January 1 and 8 leaving Ernakulam at 5:30 a.m.

These trains will halt at Karwar, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki, Surathkal, Mangaluru Junction and Kasaragod, Konkan Railway stated.
