Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa’s son and state BJP vice-president BY Vijayendra left for Delhi on Thursday. His sudden Delhi visit has led to more speculation in the State’s political arena.
Recently, Arun Singh, the party’s State in-charge, arrived in the State to gather the opinions of the legislators and reported it to the party’s national president JP Nadda.
Soon after Singh’s visit, Yediyurappa went to Delhi and met Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Vijayendra’s sudden departure to Delhi on June 24 is being reported to be for a private issue.
Meanwhile, Bhupendra Yadav, BJP national secretary, on Wednesday met the chief minister. It was reported Yadav was meeting Yeddiyurappa on the directions of Amit Shah to discuss some current developments.
