Speeding car hits a motorcycle; one killed

Bengaluru: A drunk youth rammed into a motorcycle killing the bike rider at Aishwarya Junction in Adugodi on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Praveen Kumar (19).
It has been gathered that the victim was on his bike and was waiting at the signal to go green when the accused Bhaskar Raj (27) came speeding in his car and rammed the two-wheeler.
Police claimed that the accident happened because the accused Bhaskar Raj was inebriated and lost control of the vehicle.
Bhaskar Raj was produced before the Metro Magistrate Traffic Court and remanded to 14 days judicial custody at Parappana Agrahara prison.
