Speeding car knocks down pedestrian, food stall owner

Mangaluru: Four persons, including a pedestrian, sustained injuries after a speeding car went out of the drivers control near Navabharat Circle here on Monday, November 11 evening.

The injured have been identified as Aravind (21), Akram Pasha (28), Anil (18), and Dayanand Shetty (45).

As per reports, the car driver Aravind suffered an epileptic seizure while driving causing the car to go out of control. The car knocked down a pedestrian, Akram Pasha and went on to hit a food stall owner, Anil and later rammed into a parked car, belonging to a Dayanand Shetty.

Anil and Akram Pasha sustained critical injuries in the mishap. The three injured were admitted to a hospital for treatment.

A case has been registered.
