Mangaluru: The SpiceJet direct flight service from Mangaluru to New Delhi will be restarted from Aug 4th. A previous flight service to New Delhi was terminated since a few months.

According to the available information, one SpiceJet plane will be functioning between Mangaluru and New Delhi. From Aug 4th onwards, the daily flight will take off from Mangaluru at 6:15 am in the morning and reach New Delhi at 8:55 am. The daily flight will leave New Delhi at 8:30 pm in the night and land at Bajpe airport at 11:15 pm.

There was one flight service from Jet Airways between the capital and Mangaluru, but the service was stopped since a few months. Because of this there was no direct flight service between Mangaluru and New Delhi. The only flight options to the capital were from Bengaluru or Mumbai. In this backdrop, MP Nalin had submitted a request to the union minister for civil aviation. SpiceJet has started a light service from Mangaluru to New Delhi.

Presently, SpiceJet, Indigo, Air India airline companies are providing flight services to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Dubai, Doha Qatar, Sharjah, Bahrain, Kuwait and Muscat from Mangaluru International Airport.
