Spoorthi from K’taka addresses Parliament in Kannada!

Kolar: Spoorthi M, who basically hails from the Kolar district and first-year student of law at BMS College of Law, Bengaluru, made every Kannadiga proud by addressing the Parliament in Kannada.
She addressed the gathering during the programme “Remembering our National Leaders” jointly organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies (PRIDE) on the birthday of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi celebrated on November 19 in the Central Hall of the Parliament.
The students were chosen from different institutions in the country through competitions based on the life of Indira Gandhi. The final set of students selected from across the country was given an opportunity to represent their respective states.
Spoorthi represented Karnataka and addressed the gathering in Kannada. Along with Kannada proverbs she also spoke in Sanskrit touching upon the current scenarios related to youth empowerment.
