Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala bedecked in spectacular floral decorations on New Year

Belthangady: Sri Kshetra Dharamsthala Manjunatha Sannidhi here has been adorned with flowers to welcome devotees for the new calendar year.
Gopal Rao, a businessman from Bengaluru, along with other businessmen Anand, Manju, Puttaswamy, Raju, and Saravan helped arrange the floral decorations. They have been decking up the temple on New Year’s Eve for the past 15 years.
The temple’s porch, interior, exterior, tower, and Heggade’s beedu are embellished with an assortment of fruits, indigenous and foreign flowers, Coimbatore banana trees, 8000 coconuts, etc. costing around Rs 15 lakhs. The temple’s facade and idols of Shiva-Parvati, Shanmukha, and Ganesha have been adorned with traditional decorations. The interior flower arrangements have captivated the devotees.
Amidst seeking the divine darshan, devotees are admiring the decorations.
With Sunday being a holiday and the advent of the New Year, there’s a notable increase in the number of devotees.
Meanwhile, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Virendra Heggade has conveyed New Year wishes of happiness, peace, and tranquility to the people of the nation.
