Srirangapatna twin children’s death: Mother confesses to having poisoned ice cream

Srirangapatna: The case of death of one-and-a-half-year-old twins on Wednesday after eating ice cream in Bettahalli here took a turn after their mother confessed to having poisoned them.
The twins, Trishul and Tanisha, died while their mother Pooja (22) fell ill after consuming ice cream. Pooja has been admitted to MIMS Hospital for treatment.
It is revealed that, during police questioning, Pooja confessed to having laced the ice cream with pesticides.
A domestic dispute is believed to be the motive behind the crime.
