SSLC exams: Students reach schools to appear for exam

Mangaluru: Amid coronavirus scare in the state, scores of students on Thursday, June 25 wearing a mask arrived at their examination centres to answer their exams.
Adequate arrangements such as thermal screening, providing masks and sanitisers to the students has begun at the examination centres. Two police officers and two scouts and guides has been appointed for each exam centre.
In Dakshina Kannada, as many as 30,368 children including 367 from Kasaragod will appear for the examination at 90 exam centres.
While few neighbouring states have given a general promotion to the 10th standard students due to coronavirus scare, the Karnataka government decided to hold the exam from June 25 to July 3.
