Bengaluru: The SSLC Preparatory Exam question paper will be set at the taluk level this time.
For the year 2022-23, Block education officers will be in charge of question paper preparation, which was previously done at the state level. The exam will be held this month and time table is yet to be published.
The Preparatory Examination will be conducted at the level of BEOs(Block Education Officer), as approved by the Department of School Education and Literacy.
In light of this, the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board will post the model question paper to each block education officer’s login. The BEOs at each level should prepare and print the question paper in accordance with that model, then store it securely in the taluk level strong room.
On the day of the relevant subject’s exam, they should be handed to the schools with strict security. The district deputy director should oversee the examination.
It has been suggested that the examination cost to be Rs 60 per student. The headmaster of the school is responsible for depositing this fee into the Block education officer’s designated bank account. The BEOs have been instructed by the Department of School Education to keep track of the examination fees they have collected and the expenses incurred which need to be shown during the inspection.
