SSR death case: NCB officials arrest actress Rhea Chakraborty

Mumbai: The officials of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) have arrested Rhea Chakraborty on Tuesday, September 8 in the investigation into the drugs case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

NBC officials on Tuesday summoned Rhea for questioning for the third time. It was reported that the authorities later arrested Rhea and scheduled a medical check-up of her around 5 pm.

NBC officials have already taken into custody Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda and one of his staff Deepesh Sawant in the case.

It was also reported that Rhea was arrested under drug possession and consumption charge. She and the remaining three detainees will be produced before a judge on Wednesday morning.
