Belgaum: KPCC president DK Shivakumar has accused the Union and State governments of betraying the people of the district by not bringing the body of the deceased Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi here.
Speaking to reporters at the Belgaum airport, Shivakumar said that Suresh Angadi’s mortal remains should have been brought to the city so the local residents could have had the opportunity to pay their respects.
He added that even his family was not served justice.
“We will hold a meeting with the District Congress Committee on the selection of Congress candidate for the Belgaum Lok Sabha seat,” he said.
He also stated that the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is a black spot for the entire world and alleged that the State government was providing justice to the flood victims.
