Bengaluru/Mysuru: A two-day executive meeting of the Karnataka BJP is scheduled to begin on Saturday in Mysuru amid internal clashes in the state party unit.

Senior party leader KS Eshwarappa and others are expected to take part in the meeting following suggestions from national party leaders.

Further, a training camp of the Sangolli Rayanna Brigade which was scheduled for May 8 at Raichur has been postponed to a later date due to the executive meeting.

Meanwhile, as factionalism continues within party circles, internal issues might rise anytime. Senior BJP leader B L Santhosh is said to be busy with his strategy and as part of his plans, he has reportedly held a secret meeting with his supporters in Tumakuru on Friday. These developments have indicated that internal clashes within the party are likely to continue.
