State Cong leaders to meet RaGa in Delhi to finalise candidates list

Bengaluru: The state big wigs of Congress party will be attending a meeting on Saturday with the AICC president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi to finalise the Congress candidates list for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
As per the sources, Congress leaders like former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, KPCC president Dinesh Gundurao, Mallikarjuna Kharge will meet Rahul Gandhi at his office and finalize the party candidates list.
Speaking on the confusion over Tumakuru, a senior Congress leader said that as per the original agreement the Congress should have fielded its candidate in 21 seats, while the JDS should contest in seven seats, but at the last moment AICC decided to leave Tumakuru Lok Sabha constituency to the JDS.
It is gathered that Deve Gowda is also in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi is also expected to hold a meeting with JDS supremo and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda with regard to the Tumakuru issue as Deve Gowda is also in Delhi.
