State education minister S Suresh Kumar announces 2nd PUC results; DK bags the top spot

Bengaluru: State education minister S Suresh Kumar on Tuesday announced the 2nd PUC results. A total of 6,66,497 lakh students appeared for the examination and all the students passed the examination.
The Education Minister said, 4,50,106 students have secured distinction and first-class, 1,47,055 second class, and 68,729 students have managed to pass.
A total of 2,51,686 students had appeared for the 2nd PUC exam in the Commerce stream, 2,19,777 students appeared for the exam in the Science stream and 69,529 students had appeared for the 2nd PUC exam in arts stream.
A total of 2,239 have secured 600 out of 600 marks. Out of the total number 100 percent scorers, maximum, 445 in number, are from Dakshina Kannada. With 302 students, Bengaluru South stands second, and with 261 students Bengaluru North bags the third spot. The least number of 100 percent scorers, 149 in number, are from the Udupi district.
Students can check Karnataka’s 2nd PUC result on http://karresults.nic.in Also, results will also be sent to students via their mobile numbers.
