State government is responsible for the plight of Sasihitlu Beach: Abhaychandra Jain

Sasihithlu: Former Minister Abhaychandra Jain on Saturday said that the State government has failed to maintain and develop Munda beach of Sasihithlu and is responsible for the plight of Sasihitlu Beach

He was speaking during his visit to the Sasihithlu beach to review the flood situation.

He further said that during Congress rule, Rs 7 Cr was allocated by various departments to renovate Sasihitlu beach and it also was recognized as an international tourist destination. But the present government has failed to maintain the beach

Jain also made a phone call to the DC and asked him to visit the spot and discuss relief measures

The flooding caused by coastal tides and high surf as a result of Cyclone Tauktae covered beach and roads with water near Sasihithlu
