State Government seeks extension of tenure for K Rathna Prabha

Bengaluru: The state government, has written to the Central government for approval for extending the service tenure of Chief Secretary K Rathna Prabha. 

According to the decision, the state coalition government has looked for an extension until September 2018 for K Rathna Prabha whose tenure ends on June 30. Outstandingly, if the central government favors of the decision, this will be the second extension for the chief secretary. 

K Rathna Prabha was selected as Chief Secretary to the administration of Karnataka on November 28, 2017, and her term would end on March 31, 2018. However, in light of the state Assembly elections, the state government had looked for an extension of her tenure till June 30′ 2018 and the same had been approved by the Center.
