Mangaluru: The silence of the government over the arrest of Climate activist Disha Ravi is shameful, said, MLA UT Khader
Speaking to the reporters, Khader said,” Disha Ravi’s arrest is nothing but the suppression of freedom. Toolkit is just an open document, every party has a toolkit. There is nothing confidential about the document.”
“Why the state government is silent when a Bengaluru-based Climate activist was arrested and taken to Delhi? This is nothing but an attempt to silence those who support farmers,” he added
Talking about the FASTag implementation in Talapady, Khader said,” Day by day the tollgate related problems are increasing. City buses are refusing to cross the tollgate due to fee collection. There must be a meeting held among district leaders to resolve the issue”
Also, informing about the new AYUSH block at Ullal Government hospital, he said, ” The foundation stone for the new block will be laid in the next week. The new block will avail Ayurvedic, homeopathic, allopathic, and Unani treatment”
