Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has instructed Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to stop all street vending activities in the city.
This move comes as a reaction to the first case of coronavirus found in the state.
The CM called mayor Gautam Kumar, the standing committee on health chairman G Manjunath Raju, leader of the ruling party Muneendra Kumar and Municipal Commissioner Anil Kumar and instructed them to strictly enforce the ban.
