Stricter restrictions in the district next week to curb the spread of Covid-19: DC

Mangaluru: In order to curb the spread of Covid-19, District commissioner Rajendra KV said that stricter rules will be implemented in the district next week.

Speaking to the reporters, Rajendra said, “In order to avoid the extension of lockdown in the district, the positivity rate must be reduced. Hence, we will impose strict rules in the district next week. Also, strict action will be taken against those roaming in the city unnecessarily.”

“In order to enforce strict rules, 150 inspection teams including 10 in Mangalore city limits have been formed across the district,” he added.
