Student from Bengaluru among 50 picked for Google’s AI Team

Bengaluru: Aditya Paliwal, a MTech student at the International Institute of Information and Technology, Bengaluru (IIITB), is one of 50 chose to be a part of Google’s Artificial Intelligence Team. The 22-year-old’s pay bundle has been set at an astounding Rs 1.2 crore p.a.
Paliwal hails from Mumbai and is a student of the integrated MTech course here at IITB. He addressed a worldwide test directed by Google for their examination in artificial intelligence technology. The test saw in excess of 6,000 students, out of whom just 50 were chosen, Paliwal being one among them. He is set to join the research wing of the tech mammoth on July 16.
Paliwal had taken an interest in the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) in 2017 and 2018 and was one of the finalists both times. The current year’s challenge saw 50,000 students partake from 111 nations.
Paliwal is additionally a major fan of games like football and cricket.
