Student hangs himself in Puducherry : Blue Whale Challenge suspected

Puducherry: The deadly Blue Whale game kills another youth in the State of Tamil Nadu.
The victim has been identified as Sashikant Bora from Assam studying in Pondicherry University.
Police said they found that Bora, downloaded the Blue Whale game vortex on his mobile phone.
The initial investigation also revealed that Bora had also invited some of his friends in Assam to play the Blue Whale game.
Bora, who was chatting with his friends last night, left for his room and was found hanging himself from a tree near his hostel room this morning.
Kalapet police who checked his cell phone also confirmed that the youth was playing the game.
His phone has been seized and sent to the cyber cell for further investigation.
Meanwhile, another college student in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu attempted to commit suicide after getting indulged in playing the dangerous game. The victim was admitted to a hospital and the health condition of the student is stable.
Police said during a counselling session the boy admitted that he got addicted to the Blue Whale game.
