Subrahmanya Math employees express resentment over assault on colleague

Sullia: Following the assault on a priest of Samputa Narasimhaswamy Math at Kukke Subramanya temple here on June 1 night, the Math priests and employees met temple executive officer, Raveendra M H, on Monday, June 3 and expressed their anger over the incident.

Condemning the assault on their collegaue in the temple premises, they urged the temple executive officer to initiate action against the guilty members of temple managing committee.

The temple is open for public and the temple managing committee has been formed to provide basic facilities and make other arrangements for the convenience of devotees visiting the temple but rather they have acted like hooligans, in this case, they said.

The executive officer reassured them that he would discuss the matter with the managing committee and take a suitable decision.
