The incessant rains which lashed the region for the past few days have caused the Kumaradhara river to swell with flood water inundating the roads and the highway near Subrahmanya.

Despite the predictions of adverse weather conditions, Mangalore University declined to postpone the semester exams currently underway for college students in Dakshina Kannada. It is worth noting that the varsity had postponed the exams in the Colleges of Kodagu district.

Consequently, students who were coming to Subramanya KSS College from the Panja area had to walk through flooded roads to make their way to the exam center. to take their exams found it difficult to walk on the waterlogged road

Considering the potential risks involved, there is a growing demand to postpone the Mangalore University semester exams.
