Subramanya: A leopard that chased a dog into the toilet of a house at Bilinele village’s Moolamane in the Kadaba taluk escaped during the Forest Department’s caging operation.
The residents of the house had locked the leopard along with the dog in the toilet. The Forest Department tried various techniques to capture the leopard.

At about 5 pm, when the department’s officials were about to sedate the leopard using a gun, it escaped after breaking the roof of the toilet.
The pet dog who was held captive along with the leopard was rescued without any harm to it.
