Tekkatte: Despite of being disabled due to Polio, Lalita Poojary of Kumbhasi Koravadi has successfully harvested yield from the vegetables grown she had grown in the garden at her house and thereby has set an example.

When she was pursuing primary school education at Koravadi Government Primary School, she developed high fever and eventually lost the strength of the limbs. Amidst this, with a longing to blend with the nature, she planted flower and vegetable plants near her house and found success in it. She is also skilled in various types of artwork.

“I yearn to exist independently with art and amidst nature. My mother and family members are giving me encouragement in this regard, “informs Lalita Poojary.
