Sudha Murthy inaugurates Mysuru Dasara

Mysuru: Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murty inaugurated the Mysuru Dasara at Chamundi Hill today morning in the presence of elected representatives and other dignitaries.

CM H D Kumaraswamy, district in-charge minister G T Devegowda, Tourism Minister Sa Ra Mahesh, MP Prathap Simha and other ministers were present.

10-day Dasara festivites showcasing the cultural diversity of the state will be celebrated in Mysuru from today untill the Vijayadashami.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Sudha Murthy said that the Infosys Foundation would be spending Rs 25 crore to rebuild and rehabilitate Kodagu she said that the foundation will be constructing houses in the district. 

She also said that the Foundation will construct a walking path at Hebbal lake here.
