Sugar factory employee dies of snake bite, family protests for compensation

Mandya: A 48-year-old man, an employee of Mysugar factory died due to a snake bite on Thursday while unloading sugarcane into a tractor.
The deceased has been identified as Bommaiah.
Following Bommaiah’s death, his family members have been staging a protest in front of the sugarcane factory seeking a fair compensation, informed sources.
Mandya central police have registered a case in this regard.
