Sullia: 16-yo teen dies by suicide

Sullia: A 16-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan in her room in Paduvannur village on Sunday morning.

The deceased identified as Deeksha, daughter of Chandrashekar Gowda, resident of Kannadka Kajemoola was a first PUC student of a private college in Puttur.

Deeksha is said to have taken the extreme step when her parents had gone to the field for agricultural work.

The reason for the suicide is not yet known.

Puttur police visited the spot and registered a case.
