Sullia: Anti-Naxal Force conduct operations

Sullia: In the backdrop of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) have begun search operations in the border areas of Dakshina Kannada district.
The ANF has taken up search operations at Sampaje, Arekallu, Kollamogra, Kujimale, Subrahmanya, Bisle and other areas including the forest areas nearby. The operations are being conducted at a swift pace since three days.
The areas where naxalites have visited earlier have been taken as the focal point from where the search has begun. In the backdrop of the elections, the preparations are being conducted and the search operation is being conducted to make sure that there is no naxal activity in the area, informed officials. A few days back, search operations were conducted at the border areas of Kerala and Kodagu districts which connect with the borders of DK district.
