Sullia: Locals in the taluk expressed outrage over a photoshoot conducted at Devaragundi waterfalls in Thodikana here.

Models, dressed in bikinis were seen posing for photos at the ‘sacred’ water falls.

As per legend, Lord Shiva had bathed in the waterfall, which id located around 2 km from the Sri Mallikarjuna Temple. Locals consider this as a holy spot and have refrained from bathing or any other human activities here.

The temple management, upon being apprised of the situation said that they had not given permission for the photoshoot.
