Sullia: Cash, valuables worth Rs 20 lac stolen; case filed

Sullia: Cash and jewellery valuing Rs 20 lakhs were stolen from the residence of the former president of town panchayat on Wednesday when the family was away attending a function.
The complainant, Shamsuddin told the police that when they returned at around 9.45 pm on Wednesday they found that the door to their house was broken. Upon checking, the cupboard had been ransacked and valuables- 14 branded watches, 20 golden finger rings, three pendants, two diamond bracelets, one diamond chain and Rs 55,000 cash were found missing.
Police are investigating the theft case.
