Sullia: Elderly woman walks nearly 15 km to buy medicines amid lockdown

Sullia: An elderly woman walked 15 kilometres to buy medicines due to vehicular restrictions in view of the lockdown.
The incident occurred in Kolladogra in Sullia taluk on Friday, April 10.
Few locals noticed the tired woman and inquired with her.
Upon learning that she wanted to purchase medicines, Kolladogra gram panchayat president and village PDO arranged for the medicine and later sent the woman home in a private vehicle.
