Sullia: FIR against man for hiring ambulance to reach village

Sullia: A man was booked for using ambulance to reach district on Wednesday, April 1.
The accused is identified as Vijayakumar was arrested for violating lockdown restrictions in Bellare police station limits.
As per sources, he worked in Raichur and was staying at his friend’s place in Kundapur. He is said to have booked an ambulance posing as patient to reach his village in Panja.
He was Wenlock hospital for check up and was not showing any symptoms of Covid-19. He is currently under home quarantine.
A case has been registered on this regard.
