Sullia: Due to the absence of a bridge to reach the hospital at Marasanka in Jalsoor, Sullia locals had to cross the river carrying an injured woman on a stretcher.

It is said that the woman identified as Devaki from Marasanka had slipped and fallen to the ground at her home resulting in a fracture.

As there was no bridge connecting the main road, locals risked their lives and crossed the river with the injured woman on a stretcher.

After crossing the river, Devaki was taken to hospital by ambulance.
