Sullia: A shocking incident unfolded on Saturday night at the KSRTC bus stand in Sullia, where a miscreant allegedly took a photo of a woman through the restroom window and fled the scene.
According to the woman, the incident occurred when she was using the restroom at the bus stand. She claimed that the miscreant took a photo through a gap in the restroom window, where the glass was displaced. Upon noticing the act and the miscreant’s hand, she screamed loudly, forcing him to flee.
The woman reported the incident to the Sullia police and the bus stand authorities. The police visited the spot to investigate and instructed the bus stand officials to fix the glass panes. Officials reportedly assured that necessary repairs would be undertaken. No formal complaint has been registered yet.
Recurring Crimes at Bus Stand:
A week earlier, a passenger’s bag and shoes were stolen while they were sleeping at the same bus stand. The latest incident of photographing a woman inside the restroom has further raised concerns. Despite being located near a police station, the bus stand lacks security personnel at night, leading to repeated criminal activities. This has caused significant outrage among the public.
