Sullia: Mother-child killed in car accident; 4 others severely injured

Sullia: In a tragic car accident at Parappa near Jalsur-Kasargod road on Monday, December 12, a mother and child have died, while four others are severely injured.
The deceased are identified as Shahina (28) and Shaja (3), wife and child of Shaan, a resident of Parappa.
As per the reports, around six people were on their way to attend a wedding event.
At this point in time, the Innova car in which they were travelling lost control and toppled, eventually slamming against a tree.
Due to the impact, the mother and child died on spot, while the rest four were severely injured.
Meanwhile, the injured who were first taken to a hospital at Kasargod were later shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced treatment.
Reports suggest that the bodies of the mother and child are recovered from the accident scene and shifted to a private hospital in Sullia.
