Sullia: A diesel tanker overturned on Wednesday, October 30 at the Baithadka curve on the Mani–Mysuru highway near Jalsur village after the driver lost control.
The tanker was transporting diesel from Mangaluru to Madikeri when it toppled in the middle of the road, leading to a diesel spill at the site.
Fire department personnel promptly arrived at the scene to manage the spill and contain any hazards. The driver, injured in the accident, has been taken to the hospital for treatment. Traffic on the highway was disrupted due to the incident.
