BJP state general secretary Sunil Kumar has warned that disciplinary action will be taken against former MLA Raghupati Bhat if he does not withdraw candidature against the party candidate.

Speaking at a press conference in Udupi, Sunil Kumar stated that Raghupati Bhat, who is contesting against the BJP candidate in the Legislative Council elections, must announce his withdrawal within 24 hours. If he fails to do so, disciplinary action will be inevitable based on the violation of party rules.

He further warned that any anti-party activities or actions that bring embarrassment to the party will not be tolerated. The same rules apply to everyone in the party, and no exceptions will be made.

Therefore, it is expected that Raghupati Bhat will withdraw his nomination. Taking action against anyone contesting against the official party candidate is inevitable, he emphasized.
