Bengaluru: Sunny Leone event organizer moved to the High Court after the state government and city police denied permission for the event.
The time creations organizers of the ‘Sunny Night in Bengaluru’ seeked a direction and intervention from the High Court to let the event happen as scheduled at White Orchid Hotel at Nagavara.
The state government and city police had refused permission citing security reasons. A few days back, pro Kannada groups had organised protests and threatened mass suicide and said Sunny Leone’s performance in Bengaluru would be an “assault” on Kannada culture.
