Supari murder plan: Nobody is trying to kill me, clarifies Yash

Bengaluru: Sandalwood actor Yash on Sunday clarified that he was not being targeted by anyone and there is no threat to his life.
Addressing pressperson, Yash said that there is no threat to his life from anyone and requested a certain section of the media not to spread such rumours as it will unnecessarily create tension in his family.
“I am not a chicken or goat to be slaughtered. I know who I am and the power I possess. I have come in front of the media to clear the air,” he added.
He further clarified that there is no connection between the arrest made by Central Crime Branch police the suspected to be supari killers targeting
Yash said he immediately contacted the home minister and police officials to check the status of the FIR after he learnt about some television channels running programmes about contract killers targeting him.
On Thursday, March 7 sleuths from Central Crime Branch (CCB) had arrested seven men who were moving around suspiciously. They told cops that their leader Bharat alias Slum Bharat, who is in judicial custody at Central Prison had taken supari to kill an eminent personality from Sandalwood.
Additional commissioner of police (crime) Alok Kumar informed that probe revealed Bharath was all set to kill a noted actor in the Kannada film industry, but they never revealed Yash’s name.
