Bengaluru: Former chief minister B S Yediyurappa was presented ‘Super corona warrior’ award for tackling the first and second wave of Covid-19 effectively in Karnataka.
BJP MLA M.P. Renukacharya organised the function to felicilitate Yediyurappa with the award in the premises of government girls pre-university college in Nyamathi town.
Renukacharya said that Yediyurappa was infected with Corona twice when he was the Chief Minister. Without any fear or hesitation, he has undergone treatment and got discharged. He travelled across the state when Corona was at its peak.
Over 5,000 corona warriors were felicitated at the event.
