Support for Malegaon blast: Former cop Anupama Shenoy faces FIR

Kaup: A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against former police officer, Anupama Shenoy, for allegedly supporting Malegaon blast through a Facebook post, on Wednesday May 1.

Apparently, in the alleged Facebook post, Anupama had written, “Whenever there is a discussion about Islamic terrorism, the Congress party talks about Malegaon blast, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Col. Purohit Singh and refers to ‘Hindu Terrorism’. Even if Sadhvi Pragya and Col. Purohit conspired and carried out the Malegaon blast, it was a protest against Islamic terrorism.”

Anupama has been charged with supporting the act of terrorism in the complaint.
