Supreme Court permits for floor test on Saturday

Bengaluru: The Supreme Court has asked the BS Yeddyurappa government to take a floor test on Saturday and demonstrate its majority. 

A bench of three judges, hearing a joint petition documented by the JD(S) and the Congress challenging Governor Vajubhai Vala’s choice welcoming Yeddyurappa to shape another government in the state regardless of having 104 MLAs – eight shortage of the magic number has offered two other options to Yeddyurappa government.
