Surathkal: Waves carry away Shivamogga boy at beach

Surathkal: A boy from Shivamogga was carried away by the waves while his father was rescued at the Guddekopla beach here on Sunday.

Mubarak (13) had come to the beach with his parents and was playing on the beach when a wave struck and took him away.

The family had reportedly come to an event at their relatives.

Locals, Coastal Security Police have started a search operation for the boy.
