Suratkal: Four arrested for sale,consumption of ganja

Police officials apprehended four individuals who were involved in the sale and consumption of ganja in a house located in Kulai village.

 

The arrested accused have been identified as Vikram alias Jayaram (30) a resident of Baikampady, Satish (50) of Kodialvail, Sarfaraj (37) of Honnakatte, Kulai, Akshay (33) of Baikampady.

Acting on information received about the illegal activity, police officials under the direction of  ACP Manoj Kumar Naik raided the premises

Upon entering the room, the officers discovered the four accused individuals smoking ganja in the form of cigarettes.

The team also found 790 grams of ganja, weight measurement equipment, and empty packets for packing ganja in the autorickshaw parked outside. In addition to these items, the police confiscated four mobile phones, cash amounting to Rs. 2470, and the autorickshaw.
