A massive fire broke out at a sports equipment store on Saturday afternoon, resulting in a loss of lakhs of rupees.
The shopkeepers immediately closed their shops and evacuated the area.
According to reports, the fire department was informed, but there was a delay in their arrival, resulting in the destruction of the goods.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and an investigation is underway..
In the wake of the incident, MLA Bharat Shetty visited the site to assess the damage and provide appropriate guidance. The local authorities have assured the affected shop owners of necessary assistance and support to help them recover from the loss.
